Getting to Queen Marys University of London

The easiest way to get to the Mile End campus is by bus or tube.  The closest tube station is Mile End which is on the Central line, the District line and the Hammersmith & City line or Stepney Green, which is on the District line and the Hammersmith & City line.

There are usually an adequate number of taxis in operation in the city centre at any given time. Both Black Cabs and Private taxis operate in London, Uber is also currently operating in London. It is possible to hail a taxi from the street, but there is a convenient taxi rank is located at Mile End Road station.

There is an option to use the Santander Cycles – the closest docking station is within 800 metres of QMUL on Burdett Road A1205. The cost is £2 to access bikes for 24 hours, and the first 30 minutes of each journey is free.

By air

For a cheaper alternative, National Express coach services operate from Luton Airport, Stansted Airport, Gatwick Airport and Heathrow Airport.

You can take a taxi from all five London airports, although be aware that this journey will be more expensive.

Alternatively, you can hire a car at the airport and drive to London.
